To lighten the load slightly from my previous blog post, here are a couple of pictures snapped up in the garden yesterday.
Almost every day Alby, Percy and I follow the same
post-nursery routine. Instead of walking
in the front door Alby and I head straight to the back garden.
We call Percy from his slumber to join us and
for the next twenty minutes Percy plays football whilst Alby walks up and down
and up and down and up and down the path.
We don’t have any official garden toys, but to help keep him
distracted the walker and pull-toy-sausage-dog have recently come out to
play.
The other day when Alby was having a strop by the back door
as I cleaned the kitchen I actually let him and Percy out together whilst I
stayed inside. For twenty minutes they
happily babysat each other.
Turns out
Percy is happy to play football solo just so long as there is somebody else in
the garden, even if that somebody is a baby with seriously under developed ball
skills.
